Frank Khumalo

Dear Friend,

How are you? I hope things are going on well for you and your family. I would like to introduce Frank Khumalo. He stays with his Grandparents in Lupane. Our home is built with mud and poles, thatched with grass. We stay in a very sandy region with lots and lots of trees. In June and July it would be very cold, in October and November very hot and rainy season starts. we usually grow crops like maize (which is our staple food) millet and roundnuts. we keep donkeys only. The nearest town is 159 km, the hospital is 20km and the school is 5km away from our home. We fetch water from a nearby borehole about 200m from home. Frank likes to make mud cows and play soccer with his friends.

Yours,

Sinanzeni Netha (Frank's Grandmother)
